As the airline’s largest market outside of america, southwest serves four different destinations in mexico. If you haven’t checked the airline’s route map in a while, southwest airlines offers some pretty cool destinations within the u.s., mexico, the caribbean and even central america. Southwest airlines is the world’s largest low cost airline, and second largest airline overall by the number of passengers carried.

Southwest airlines is adding 10 new routes to its network in 2021 as aviation enters the first full year of its recovery. Aruba is the southwest international destination that is the furthest away from the continental united states. Here are the destinations on my top four list.

In addition to this, towns and cities such as flagstaff, sedona, and tucson boast a plethora of interesting historical sights and cultural landmarks. The airline has 15 focus cities and operates over 4,000 flights each day. Their destinations will include flights within the continental us, internationally to mexico, central america, and the carribean, as well as to all four major hawaiian islands. Depending on what destination you choose, you may need proof of vaccinations and, depending on where you’re from, additional visas.
